Italian Tomato Sausage Recipe

Instructions:


1. First of all, you will need to cut the Italian sausage into 3" pieces. After that, bake thme for 20 minutes at 350°F (176°C).


2. To absorb the grease from the sausages, put them on paper towels and cut them into 1" pieces.


3. Preheat the frying pan and add in the olive oil. Saute the onion and celery.


4. After that, add in the tomatoes and water and let it simmer. Now, add in the tomato paste, parsley, basil, pepper and salt. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes before adding in the sausage earlier.


5. Cover and let it simmer for another 1 hour. Uncover and let it simmer for another 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
